ZenAir Air Purifiers

Introduction

Our health has a direct correlation with purity of the air that we breathe. The recent pandemic of COVID-19 has made everyone very conscious of the importance of good indoor air quality for our well being.  The contaminants in air can be broadly divided in two categories: Biological Contaminants and Other Fine Particulates. The contaminants of the two categories might work on our system differently to cause harm, but both find their way into our bodies along with the air we breathe. Hence, keeping our indoor air free from contaminants should be our top priority.

The most vulnerable to the ill effects of indoor pollution:

    • Elderly
    • Pregnant women
    • Children
    • People with high sensitivity to allergens
    • People suffering from lung and/ or heart disease.

Particle Penetration

The finer the particle size, the deeper they will go into the body system. Several scientific studies have established that fine particles have the potential to trigger or worsen chronic disease such as asthma, heart attack, bronchitis and other respiratory problems. On a longer term, continued exposure can even be a cause of to premature death.

Biological Contaminaton of Air

Most people are already aware of the infections and diseases that are caused by the biological pathogens. Some examples are listed below:

    • Mold
    • Fungus
    • Bacteria
    • Virus
    • Fungal Spores
Microorganisms

Non-Biological Contaminaton of Air

Repeated or long term exposure and inhalation of non-biological fine particulates can also pose as much risk and health concerns among humans as can the biological pathogens. Owing to their minute size, the tiny particles are able to bypass the nose & throat and penetrate deep into the lungs; small quantities may even enter the circulatory system and get deposited in various organs. This can result in serious illnesses silently.

Particle sizes are typically graded into 3 categories.

  • PM10 : Bigger than 10 microns
  • PM2.5 : 2.5 to 10 microns
  • PM1.0 : Smaller than 2.5 microns

PM2.5. and PM1.0 Being ultra small and light, these particles stay afloat much longer in the air than larger particles. This increases the chances of humans and animals inhaling them into their bodies.  ZenAir Purifiers are one of the economical and easy to deploy and deliver results of air purification promising better health.
