Dynamic Control and Temperature Control Valve Regulation: Perfectly Balanced
Operational safety coupled with high efficiency to ensure apt thermal comfort are pivotal requirements for any system. Modern regulations assist in precisely attaining the desired room temperatures, albeit leading to fluctuating flows and pressures in the system.
With static valves, optimality is set for a singular operating status, typically at full-load operation. However, throughout a year, heating and cooling systems predominantly operate in the partial-load range, far from full-load operation.
To bridge this efficiency gap, dynamic control and Water Regulating Valves are employed, ensuring system efficiency across all load ranges by autonomously adapting to changing flow rate and pressure conditions, thus guaranteeing energy supply to all system parts at any time.
HERZ avails a diverse range of dynamic control and regulating valves, with HERZ differential pressure controllers ranging from DN 15 to DN 150. These models come with adjustable differential pressure range, fixed differential pressure setpoint, and versions with connection threads for actuator drives.
A notable offering is the HERZ Pressure Independent Control Valves (PICV), which are fully pressure-independent, automatic control and regulating valves. They amalgamate the functionalities of a regulating valve, a control valve, an isolation valve, and a differential pressure controller into one. Simplifying the operation, only the desired flow rate needs to be set on these valves. HERZ pressure-independent control valves are available from DN 15 to DN 200, covering a flow range from 20 l/h to 350,000 l/h, epitomizing a blend of versatility and efficiency.
